Tap Turn VPN on in the ONRING app to select a server automatically. If the connection fails, the app tries other servers, with up to three attempts in total.
Download the ONRING Android test appThis is an Android ARM64 debug test app, not a production-signed release. Public VPN connection, internet access and disconnection have not been verified on a physical device.
This path connects to external public servers run by VPN Gate volunteers. They are not ONRING-owned servers or an official partner network.
VPN Gate keeps connection logs, including IP addresses, connection times, traffic volumes and destination information, for at least three months. Use HTTPS for sensitive information.
The app compares server responses before attempting to connect. Speed and a successful connection are not guaranteed.
The app shows a completed connection only after checking internet access and the server exit IP. Physical-device verification has not been completed yet.
Turning VPN off stops server discovery, connection attempts, internet checks and retries.

A connection is not marked complete until the VPN server and device connection are actually verified. Applying for or activating an eSIM does not set up VPN automatically.
Review the server and its terms in the app, then approve the operating system VPN permission. After disconnecting, check that the tunnel actually stopped.
The operating-system running state is separate from VPN-server handshake and actual traffic-route verification.
